Otter OVerlay
This was my first motion graphic, made for a friend who streams and loves otters and water. She gave me full creative freedom, asking only for something minimalist and cohesive, so I took the chance to experiment and have fun. I was new to After Effects at the time and spent a few late nights learning how to loop the water animation and bring everything together. Despite the challenges, I’m really proud of how it turned out… it taught me a lot about motion design and made future projects feel much more approachable.
Pixel bear overlay
This was my first mini overlay release, where I shared just a few assets instead of a full set. After graduating, I lost access to my Adobe subscription, which meant I couldn’t finish the project as originally planned. Still, I pivoted and made the most of what I had. So I did some research and switched to free tools like Piskel and incorporating some pixel assets I had previously created in Photoshop. It was a fun challenge that pushed me to be resourceful and creative with limited tools.
Bubble tea overlay
One day I was craving boba and decided to design a boba themed overlay just for fun. I went with a minimalistic and fluid design style and even hand drew the boba elements myself. It was a lighthearted project that let me play around with simple shapes and motion in a fun, personal way.
Banana Milk overlay
A close friend really liked my boba overlay and asked if I could make a banana version and so the Banana Milk Overlay was born. It’s a bright and cheerful spin on the original, keeping the same minimal and fluid style but with a banana inspired twist. This second version let me expand on the original concept while having some fun with a new color palette and theme.
